For the first time in 2018, the Dauphin Kings picked up two points, and what a game it was as they beat the Swan Valley Stampeders tonight, 2-1 in overtime.
The Kings had many chances throughout the game, including three breakaways, but they couldn't capitalize as the game remained tied at zero.
Brennan Kitchen had another sensational game between the pipes, and made several game savers, and the Kings rewarded him at the 14:00 mark of the third as Jaymes Knee capitalized on a breakaway, to make it 1-0.
The Stamps came right back and tied it up at 18:31, which pushed the game into overtime.
In the extra frame, Riley Shamray stuck with it in front of the net and potted it past Ethan Peterson as the Kings picked up a 2-1 win.
Kitchen made 43 saves in the game for the win.
