In his five games as a Dauphin King, Danny Pion has seven points, and thanks to his efforts he has been named the Recycle Everywhere "MJHL Player of the Week"
Pion busted onto the scene in his first game as a King on December 2 and had one goal and one helper as the Kings knocked off Winkler, 4-1.
"He brings a lot to the team," said Head Coach and GM of the Kings, Mitch Giguere. "You can see with the stats, he's a playmaker. He makes everyone better on the ice, and everyone wants to play with him."
The runner-ups are 20-year-old forward Braden Purtill of the Steinbach Pistons and 19-year-old goaltender Riley McVeigh of the Virden Oil Capitals.
