The Parkland Rangers will get a few days off before heading on the road to take on Kenora twice this weekend and Winnipeg once.
The Rangers are coming off a weekend split with the Winnipeg Bruins who are near the top of the league.
"We really bought into a 60-minute game," said Brad Dupasquier, Head Coach of the Rangers. "We made sure we took care of the defensive end first. We managed our ice time quite well, and that played a big part in our game because we weren't playing tired."
Now the Rangers will head to Kenora to take on the Thistles on Friday, Saturday, before heading to Winnipeg to take on the Thrashers on Sunday.
"Kenora is below .500, but they're a tough team, especially on their home ice," said Dupasquier. "It's a tough trip overall. The guys won't get much of a rest after Saturday's game with Sunday's game being an afternoon game, so we have to prepare for what will be a tiring weekend."
The Rangers are back on home ice on Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16.
