When 10:00 a.m. hits tomorrow, Dauphin's Nolan Hadway, Lawson Yates, Jonathon Kohan and Luke Davidson will have one goal on their mind, and that goal is qualifying for the U21 Canola Growers Curling Provincial Championships.
The foursome will head to Swan River to take part in the Parkland Qualifier which features five teams playing for two spots.
A couple weeks ago, the foursome headed to Hamiota for a qualifier but fell short of a spot.
"We have a better chance this weekend than we did in Hamiota," said Mark Hadway, Coach of the team. "We only have to win two games to get a spot, but in Hamiota we needed to win six or seven."
The foursome will head into the qualifier as a confident team that wants this weekend to be the one that they clinch their spot.
"The guys have been preparing a lot," said Hadway. "We've been playing a lot this year. We had a big win in the Gilbert Plains Competitive League last night, so that showed the guys that if they can beat men's teams, why can't they beat someone their own age."
The quest to the Provincials for Hadway, Yates, Kohan, and Davidson begins tomorrow morning at 10 at the Swan River Curling Club.
