It was Teddy Bear Toss night at Credit Union Place, but it didn't end the way the Dauphin Kings wanted, as the Oil Capitals beat the Kings, 8-2.
It was a dream start for the Kings as Teddy Bear's were flying just 3:08 in, as the Kings scored the first goal of the game to lead 1-0. From there, it was all Oil Capitals as they scored four goals in the next 16:02 to lead 4-1 after 20.
In the second, the Oil Capitals once again showed their strong offensive presence, scoring four more times as they led, 8-1 after 40.
The Kings scored the lone goal for the Kings in the final 20 as Jaxon Heeney potted it past Riley McVeigh, but in the end, the Oil Capitals skated away 8-2 winners.
