The Parkland Rangers were in Winnipeg this afternoon taking on the Winnipeg Wild, and it didn't turn out the way they wanted, as they fell 8-1.
A five-goal second period propelled the Wild to the big win.
Carter Cockburn scored the lone Rangers goal in the game.
The Rangers are back on the ice next Saturday and Sunday in a weekend rematch with the Wild in Swan River.
