The Dauphin Kings played one of their best games of the season tonight, but they lost a heartbreaker as the Flyers scored with 25.8 seconds left to beat the Kings, 3-2.
Both teams battled hard in the first period, but the Kings scored the only goal at 18:15 of the opening period as they led 1-0 after 20.
In the second, the Kings continued with their great effort and were rewarded as Jacob Evans scored his first goal of the season at 13:40, and that was it as the Kings led 2-0 after 40.
The Flyers scored one on the power play in the third, and then tied it up at 11:38 into the third.
Then, with 25.8 seconds left, what appeared to be a non-goal, was called a goal as the Flyers stole two points against the Kings.
The Kings are back in action on Tuesday night when they welcome Swan Valley to town.
